The Soccer Revolution Academy was created to provide a safe, fun, learning environment that consists of diverse, engaging soccer exercises and training games. Our creative curriculum includes exercises that will challenge students to try and perform beyond their expectations. We will try to improve the physical, technical, and tactical component of each student's game. At the younger age groups, we are particularly focused on improving each student's comfort level on the ball.
The HS Prep Weeks will allow players to improve their fitness while improving their confidence heading into their high school tryouts.
The camp was founded and is directed by Rob Jachym. Rob was the 3rd overall pick in the 1997 MLS Draft and played for the Columbus Crew and N.E Revolution in 1997 and 1998. He was inducted into the 2010 CT Soccer Hall of Fame after an All-American career at the Univ. of Hartford and Maloney High School. Rob holds three scoring records at Maloney HS (Goals in one season=36, career goals=61, goals in one game=7).
Rob received a full scholarship to the University of Hartford, where he led the team in goals his freshman and senior year. Following two ACL surgeries, Rob scored 17 goals his senior year earning All-American honors as well as America East Player of the Year. The University of Hartford team, captained by Rob, was ranked #10 in the nation following their run to the NCAA Division I Elite Eight.
The Soccer Revolution Academy staff consists of a very cohesive group of coaches that have worked together for years. All of our head coaches hold NSCAA or USSF coaching licenses. Our staff coaches work with kids in soccer at all levels on a year-round basis. Parents should take comfort in knowing that their kids are surrounded by a well respected group of local soccer professionals.
